We spent hours trying to fit all the folks in this photo into the format we used for every other performer here. You know: To be consistent. But after a few hours of tireless tinkering, we realized they were way too big. And if you saw them at last year's Global Union (and we know that a few thousand of you did), you know that "big" is a pretty accurate way of describing them— their sound, presence AND number. They're a Boston-based Ethiopian Funk band. And just like at Global Union, they're bringing the gravity-defying Fendika with them. (No need to defy gravity while YOU dance to Debo Band, though. Just plain dancing is fine.)
